If you go to a shoe store, and wait for more than 15 minutes for the salesperson to help you, and he's still not back..
would you wait?
or would you leave?
------------------------------------
If you go to the doctor's, and he's making you wait, for an hour and a half..
would you wait? (you've already waited for so long!)
or would you leave? (and have to come back again, and maybe wait, again!)
------------------------------------
If you're at a job, and you've been promised a promotion that you deserve, and it's been 3 years..
would you wait? (you've wasted all these years of your life)
or would you leave? (and have to start all over again somewhere else)
-----------------------------------
what is the smart answer?
does it make a difference where you are?
or how long you wait?
or is it just a concept?
what would you do?

Hehe there's also a saying somewhere that the best opportunities are wasted during those moments of indecisiveness as we sit and decide on whether to go on or not (anyone who's ever snuck an "extra" cookie from the cookie jar can attest to this! hehe)
It does make a difference where u are, simply because of priorities... If buying the shoe is a priority on that specific visit, then most probably u'll wait... For example if u have a wedding at night and u need shoes, u'll wait, but in another situation where u just walked into a shoe store while u were in the area, and u were left waiting for 15 mins, u might leave and decide to come back on another occassion.. It's the same case for a Doctor's visit: If ur suffering from something severe, u'd probably wait... If it's just a cough, u might decide to leave and return later on...
e7m,, i would go tell them off & leave! if they run after me.. i'll wait some more.. if not.. then screw them there's a million other shoe store/hospital/job.. i HATE waiting!
You know what's really funny??.. I agree with all of u!! :D
Thats a tough one... but I guess I would wait, sometimes it just matters a few seconds between you deciding to leave and that chance coming back at u
